We operate across all modalities and are looking for an experienced Device Engineer to combine core engineering expertise with strong technical, project and matrix leadership to deliver robust, reliable and patient centric device platforms that enable GSK’s late-stage portfolio.\nThe role is to be based at GSK’s R&D site in Ware R&D, Hertfordshire (UK) and can offer flexible hybrid working. Occasional travel may also be required.\nIn this role you will…\nProvide technical leadership during the development and industrialisation phase of drug delivery and combination product programmes\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the GSK network and external device development and supply partners \nWork within the design control framework to develop and execute work packages that form the basis of platform based DDF and RMFs\nContribute to the authoring of device parts of global submissions (e.g. technical file, BLA / MAA) and agency interactions.\nEssential Requirements:\nA degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or any related discipline\nSignificant experience in drug delivery devices and the development of combination products (covering respiratory and/or parenteral dosage forms)\nExperience with requirements management, design controls, risk management, verification, validation and testing (ISO 14971 and 13485)\nA good understanding of assembly, scale up and tech transfer to manufacturing\nA good understanding of usability and human factors\nStrong leadership, teamwork and project delivery skills\nClear written and verbal communication\nClosing Date for Applications - Thursday 15th October 2026\nPlease take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.\nWhen applying for this role, please use the ‘cover letter’ of the online application or your CV to describe how you meet the competencies for this role, as outlined in the job requirements above.
