This is a senior hands-on offensive security role.\nAbout the team. The Red Team emulates real adversaries against GSK. Operators run full-lifecycle engagements using real-world attacker tradecraft, then measure what GSK's defenders actually detect and how they respond.\nKey responsibilities:\nThis role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following:\nLead assigned workstreams from definition through delivery.\nAct as subject matter expert for the capability and advise stakeholders across GSK.\nMentor colleagues and review their technical or analytical work.\nExecute red team engagements across a variety of networks using real-world adversarial tactics, techniques and procedures, from conception through to report delivery.\nEmulate real attackers to simulate security incidents, then observe and measure how GSK's monitoring and incident response perform.\nDevelop after-action reports stating what was achieved, what was detected, what was missed and what should change.\nBuild and maintain red team infrastructure, including command and control, redirectors and payload delivery, with operational security discipline.\nDevelop custom tooling and exploits where off-the-shelf capability is insufficient or too well signatured.\nRun purple team exercises with the Cyber Defense team to convert findings into detection coverage.\nMap engagement activity to MITRE ATT&CK so coverage gaps are expressed in a common language.\nBasic Qualifications:\nDegree in a relevant discipline, or related experience.\nDemonstrated experience in offensive security and red team operations.\nWorking knowledge of adversary tradecraft and command and control frameworks.\nPractical experience with full-lifecycle engagement delivery.\nStrong practical experience in the relevant cyber security domain.\nProven experience leading workstreams and delivering high-quality outcomes.\nAbility to act as a subject matter expert and advise stakeholders confidently.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOSCP, OSEP, OSED, CRTO, GPEN or GXPN.\nExploit development capability.\nActive Directory and cloud attack path expertise.\nExperience with detection evasion within an authorised engagement.\nExperience in a regulated industry, including OT and clinical system awareness.\nRelevant certification such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, GPEN, GXPN.\nExperience in pharmaceutical, life sciences or another highly regulated industry.\nTypical tools and technologies: command and control frameworks, custom offensive tooling, Active Directory and cloud attack tooling, MITRE ATT&CK.\nSkills\nAdversary Simulation, AI for Cybersecurity, AI Red Teaming, Cloud Security, COSO Framework, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Forensic Data Analysis, Incident Management, Infrastructure Security, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, ML Security, Offensive Cyber Operations, Red Teaming, Security Monitoring, Security Operations, Security Planning, Security Protocols, Security Risk, Security Technologies, TradecraftWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
