Working closely with Site Leadership and cross-functional teams, you will translate financial and operational data into insights that support better decisions, stronger cost performance and delivery of the site’s strategic priorities.\nThis is a highly collaborative and visible role, combining strong financial partnering with hands-on work to support site operations. You will challenge constructively, identify risks and opportunities, and help turn financial insights into actions that create sustainable value.\nThis role requires a regular on-site presence of at least three days per week, reflecting the importance of close partnership with site leadership and operational teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Partnering & Financial Leadership: Act as a trusted finance partner to site leaders, providing financial insight, constructive challenge and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making. \nPlanning & Forecasting: Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, ensuring robust assumptions and alignment with site and business priorities. \nPerformance Management: Analyze financial and operational performance, clearly articulating key drivers, risks and opportunities and driving timely actions with business partners. \nCost & Productivity: Champion strong cost management and financial discipline, partnering with teams to identify and deliver sustainable productivity and efficiency opportunities. \nDecision & Investment Support: Provide robust financial analysis for business cases, investments, projects and other key site decisions. \nFinancial Governance & Controls: Ensure strong financial governance and compliance with GSK policies, processes and controls, supporting internal and external audit requirements. \nContinuous Improvement: Bring a proactive improvement mindset, using data and financial insight to challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve site performance. \nCross-functional Collaboration: Build trusted relationships across Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and other site functions, connecting financial outcomes with operational drivers. \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. \n5+ years of relevant Finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing, supply chain, or operational environment. \nFinancial planning, forecasting and performance management experience. \nExperience working with financial systems and analytical tools such as SAP and Excel. \nAnalytical capability, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights and actionable recommendations. \nAbility to work effectively in a site-based, cross-functional environment. \nAbility to work on site at least three days per week. \nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional Finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent. \nExperience partnering with senior operational or business leaders. \nStrong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and engage stakeholders at different levels. \nProactive, curious and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate independently while contributing strongly to a broader team. \nExperience supporting manufacturing cost, productivity, capital investment, or continuous improvement initiatives. \nKnowledge of relevant accounting standards, including IFRS and/or US GAAP. \nWhy This Role\nThis is an opportunity to work at the heart of site decision making, where Finance is much more than reporting the numbers.
