This role demands deep technical expertise in Integration platforms, Cloud architecture, Azure infrastructure services for integrations, Event driven architecture, API Management, along with the ability to partner with Product Management, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-impact solutions.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Application Ownership & Technical Leadership\nLead the design, development, and maintenance of Azure cloud Integration platform solutions including configurations and customization, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.\nServe as a design authority, providing architectural guidance for integrations.\nImplement and enforce ITMS (IT Management System) controls, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.\n2. Delivery Oversight & Vendor Management\nOversee end-to-end project delivery, working with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality implementations.\nManage vendor-led scrum teams, providing technical oversight and governance to align with business objectives.\nDefine and enforce best practices, coding standards, and security policies across development efforts.\n3. Azure Cloud Integrations Expertise\nArchitect and develop scalable Azure integrations with enterprise systems using Azure services - API management, Service Bus, Event grid, Functions, Logic Apps, Log Analytics, Monitors & App insights.\nOptimize integrations services across enterprise applications and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and enhance operational efficiency.\n4. Strategic Partnerships & Business Alignment\nWork closely with Product Management and key business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.\nDrive alignment between engineering teams and enterprise architecture within a federated architecture model.\nInfluence roadmap decisions by providing technical insights and feasibility assessments.\n5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement\nStay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Salesforce advancements to drive innovation.\nImplement automation, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate development cycles.\nFoster a culture of continuous learning and mentorship within the engineering team.\nRequired Qualifications\n15+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in developing APIs and integration services.\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud based microservices architectures and Azure services (Service Bus, Azure Functions with C# AND/OR Java, Logic Apps, Azure Monitor & Event Grid).\nExperience developing scalable, high performant API services & working with API Management platforms - Kong or Azure/AWS/GCP API gateways.\nProven ability to design and implement integration services between cloud saas applications, enterprise apps and EDI Integrations.\nExperience managing ITMS controls, security, and compliance in a regulated environment.\nStrong leadership, vendor management, and delivery oversight experience.\nAbility to partner effectively with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferable to have Azure certifications (Azure solutions architect expert, Azure developer associate).\nExperience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences industries.\nKnowledge of AI/GenAI-powered CRM enhancements and automation tools.\n Skills\nApplication Integrations, Application Programming Interface (API) Security, CI/CD, Cloud Engineering, Configuration Management (CM), Database Management, Data Engineering, Data Integration, Front-End Development, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Development, RESTful API Design, Security System Design, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Version Control, Web DevelopmentWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
