security teams, and other architecture functions.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, patterns, and best practices.\nDesign and deliver end-to-end solution architectures based on requirements from product owners and business stakeholders.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and resilient architecture solutions.\nDesign architectures for web applications, mobile applications, microservices, APIs, and their associated technology ecosystems.\nEnsure application designs follow established engineering best practices, architectural patterns, user journeys, and UX requirements.\nDesign solutions that balance user experience, business requirements, performance, scalability, reliability, resiliency, availability, and security.\nDevelop end-to-end design patterns and reusable architecture blueprints/reference architectures.\nDesign and oversee integration of applications with surrounding enterprise ecosystems, including mobile applications, microservices, APIs, event streams, message brokers, containers, and cloud-native technologies.\nCollaborate with Information Security teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise data and technology assets.\nEnsure solution designs comply with applicable security standards, architecture principles, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.\nContribute to building reliable, resilient, secure, and scalable platforms.\nDeliver complete and self-sufficient architecture solutions and design documents within agreed timelines.\nIdentify opportunities to improve architecture and solution design workflows through automation and process optimization.\nConduct architecture peer reviews and ensure proposed solutions align with established standards and reference architectures.\nDeliver architecture education and knowledge-sharing workshops to architects and technology teams.\nCoach and mentor associate and junior architects.\nWork autonomously on complex architecture decisions while seeking alignment from relevant stakeholders where required.\nContinuously develop technical and professional capabilities, with a particular focus on Security Architecture.\nRequired Technical & Architecture Skills\nSolution & Application Architecture\nStrong overall knowledge of software engineering and solution architecture.\nMinimum 5+ years of experience designing applications, including web and mobile applications.\nMinimum 5+ years of experience designing microservices and APIs.\nDeep understanding of modern architectural patterns including:\nMicroservices\nAPI architecture\nApplication architecture\nMobile application architecture\nEvent-driven architecture\nDistributed systems\nExperience designing complete end-to-end solutions across complex enterprise ecosystems.\nStrong understanding of application integration patterns and enterprise technology ecosystems.\nCloud & Cloud-Native Architecture\nMinimum 5+ years of experience working with cloud-native technologies.\nStrong hands-on architectural understanding of:\nContainers\nKubernetes\nOpenShift\nService Mesh\nVirtualization\nExperience with cloud platforms such as:\nOpenShift\nMicrosoft Azure\nAWS\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)\nAbility to design secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native solutions.\nSecurity Architecture\nMinimum 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security / Information Security.\nStrong understanding of Security Architecture principles.\nDeep understanding of:\nAuthentication\nAuthorization\nEncryption\nLogging & Monitoring\nApplication Security\nOWASP Top 10\nInfrastructure Security\nCloud Security\nSecurity regulations and compliance\nExperience collaborating with Information Security teams to embed security into solution architecture and application design.\nAbility to balance
