This role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager.\nPosition Summary\nThe Practice Development Manager will work closely with the global litigation practice marketing team and certain industry group teams, contributing to a broad range of business development and marketing activities, while also taking direct responsibility for managing specific litigation practice areas,andworking as an integral part of the global marketing and business development team.\nKey Responsibilities\nWorks with the global litigation practice/industry groups to support attorney requests\n\nAssists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logistics\n\nWorks with creative services team to create ads and other collateral materials for charitable events and sponsorships; submits ads to organizations upon approval\n\nCompiles information for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA, Legal 500,Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, etc.\n\nCompiles information for proposals and requests for proposal (RFP), utilizing practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists\n\nAssists in distributing marketing materials, internal newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, client alerts and updates and other client communications, as needed\n\nEnsures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc.\n\nInputs data into relevant databases and makes sure information is stored/saved correctly\n\nSubmits requests to marketing intelligence for proposals and other projects\n\nSupports marketing initiatives such as shareholder practice meetings, cross-marketing meetings or other office priorities\n\nProvides excellent client service to internal and external clients\n\nCollaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams·\n\nWorks on other projects as assigned\n\nQualifications\nSkills & Competencies\nA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently\n\nOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral\n\nFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment\n\nStrong client-first work ethic\n\nAbility to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients\n\n·Strong attention to detail, and possesses excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills\n\nEducation & Prior Experience\nBachelor’s degree is required;
