JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling Grand Traverse Band EDC amenities, services, promotional packages and entertainment programs to motor coach, corporate and miscellaneous groups through direct mail, telephone campaigns and personal contact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take reservations and assist in itinerary planning for motor coach/corporate groups.
• Update Group reservation calendar and distribute.
• Contact client to confirm visitation and meeting dates, times, number attending, and meeting room requirement.
• Prepare banquet event order forms and communicate internally.
• Set up for events, including all tables, chairs, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma, a GED or equivalent experience.
• Must possess 4+ years of documented sales experience.
• Must be computer literate; be familiar with IBM or compatible software to include Microsoft Office and Player Tracking software.
• Preferred candidate will possess a college degree.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and be insurable by the tribal insurance carrier.
