The Electrician I | Journeyman Electrician will support production equipment, plant electrical systems, and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.\nThis role will also support manufacturing operations tied to modular data center builds, electrical integration areas, power distribution equipment, and system-level production environments. The Electrician I | Journeyman Electrician must have strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and hands-on experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nElectrical Installation & System Support\nInstall, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components including wiring, lighting, panels, breakers, conduit, disconnects, and control systems\nPerform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime\nCalibrate equipment to provided specifications and verify proper operation\nSupport power distribution systems serving modular data center production, assembly lines, and manufacturing equipment\nTroubleshooting & Repair\nInspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components\nTroubleshoot electrical problems and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime\nTest electrical systems and components to verify proper functionality after repair\nRespond quickly to equipment failures impacting production schedules or plant operations\nBlueprints, Codes & Standards\nPerform all work in accordance with electrical codes, OSHA requirements, safety standards, and company procedures\nRead and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, one-lines, panel layouts, and diagrams\nEnsure installations and repairs meet required specifications and compliance standards\nSupport lockout/tagout practices and safe energized work protocols where permitted\nDocumentation & Inventory\nComplete required documentation for repairs, maintenance activities, PM records, and service logs\nMaintain accurate records of work performed, downtime events, and system performance\nEnsure adequate inventory of electrical supplies, spare parts, tools, and replacement components\nSupport MRO inventory planning for electrical consumables and critical spare parts\nSafety & Operational Support\nFollow OSHA safety standards and internal safety protocols at all times\nSupport safe operation of electrical systems across the facility\nAssist production teams by ensuring electrical systems support manufacturing operations\nHelp maintain uptime for welding, fabrication, paint, assembly, testing, and electrical integration areas\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify recurring failures and support Root Cause Analysis using structured problem-solving methods\nSupport improvements to reliability, preventative maintenance, energy efficiency, and equipment uptime\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives\nRequirements\n3-5 years of experience as an Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Journeyman Electrician\nStrong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and one-lines\nWorking knowledge of electrical theory, materials, controls, motors, and industrial equipment\nExperience using hand and power tools associated with electrical work\nAbility to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds\nAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel\nValid driver’s license\nPreferred Qualifications\nCompletion of an electrician apprenticeship, technical school, or trade program\nJourneyman Electrician license preferred\nExperience in industrial manufacturing, modular manufacturing, or contract manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with preventative maintenance programs, electrical calibration, and equipment reliability systems\nExperience supporting modular data center infrastructure, power systems, or electrical integration operations\nPLC troubleshooting or controls experience preferred\nWillingness to work overtime as needed\nBenefits & Perks\nGTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
