The Human Resource Coordinator works closely with leadership and employees across departments to ensure HR processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational goals and company culture.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion while thriving in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilites\nAssist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements. \nRecruits and interviews candidates; provides management with hiring recommendations.\nCoordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs. \nCoordinates programs to attract qualified candidates through the design and placement of position announcements, advertising, and/or participation in job fairs.\nConducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management.\nResponds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs. \nConducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution.\nCoordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition.\nIdentifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management.\nConducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations.\nCoordinates administration of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.\nAssists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs.\nParticipate in the interview process for open positions. \nProvide administrative support to the facility.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management. \nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nWorking knowledge of HR laws and regulations.\nBasic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.\nExperience in recruiting and staffing.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.\nAbility to manage priorities and workflow.\nAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.\nFamiliarity with ADP Workforce Now.\nProven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal skills. \nAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.\nGood judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.\nCreative, flexible, and innovative team player.\nCommitment to excellence and high standards.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.\nAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.\nBenefits & Perks\nGTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
