This position is to serve as the subject matter expert on the work being performed on the team and is the first point of contact for the employees on the work they are assigned for the day. The Working Lead will directly interface with leadership members as to the status of projects at the end of each day, and effectively communicate any needs identified by their team.\nJob Responsibilities\nReviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.\nInterfaces with QA manager to ensure highest degree of final quality and develop new and better quality methods.\nEnsures approved manufacturing methodology is being followed.\nDevelops and communicates goals and key initiatives to improve plant performance and success.\nPerforms the physical work of the department \nMaintains knowledge of machine capacity and develops solutions for efficient utilization.\nEnsures all safety rules and regulations are followed; investigates accidents in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.\nAssigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.\nProvides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.\nKeeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.\nDirectly supervise employees assigned to their department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. \nRequired Qualifications\nTwo to four years related welding/fabrication experience\nDemonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating direct reports\nProficiency in reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nBasic competence in direct reports duties and tasks\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills\nAbility to manage priorities and workflow\nVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm\nAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees\nProven leadership skills\nProven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nAbility to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.\nGood judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions\nAbility to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions\nAbility to perform the physical labor necessary\nAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.\nShift\nMonday -
