This role will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, conducting facility and equipment inspections, identifying potential issues before they result in equipment failure or costly repairs, and supporting corrective maintenance activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment, building systems, tools, and grounds equipment\nConduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify wear, damage, leaks, safety concerns, or other potential issues\nIdentify maintenance needs and recommend repairs or replacement before equipment failure occurs\nTroubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues\nPerform routine maintenance such as lubrication, filter changes, belt and hose inspections/replacement, adjustments, tightening, cleaning, and other scheduled PM tasks\nMaintain accurate preventative maintenance records, inspection logs, and service documentation\nFollow established preventative maintenance schedules and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time\nAssist with corrective maintenance and repairs as needed\nCommunicate equipment issues, safety concerns, and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager\nAssist with coordinating and monitoring outside contractors and service vendors\nHelp maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts\nPerform seasonal grounds maintenance, including lawn cutting, weed whacking, leaf removal, planting, garden upkeep, and weed control\nRemove snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and facility access areas, including salting during winter months\nRemove trash and empty facility hoppers as needed\nOperate ride-on floor sweepers and other facility cleaning equipment\nMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout the facility and grounds\nOperate forklifts, zero-turn mowers, weed whackers, and other equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures\nFollow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and equipment-specific safety procedures\nSupport the Facilities Manager with additional facility maintenance and improvement projects as needed\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nValid Arizona Driver’s License\n2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related hands-on maintenance role\nHands-on experience performing preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections\nAbility to identify potential equipment or facility issues and take proactive action before they become failures\nBasic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills\nWorking knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building maintenance systems\nAbility to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively\nAbility to read and follow equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and preventative maintenance schedules\nAbility to document completed maintenance activities and communicate maintenance concerns clearly\nAbility to operate zero-turn lawn mowers, weed whackers, and other outdoor power equipment\nAbility to operate industrial floor sweeping and cleaning equipment\nForklift certification or ability to become certified\nWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and general workplace safety requirements\nAbility to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required\nAbility to work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and respond to facility issues in a timely manner\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment\nExperience maintaining industrial equipment, facility systems, or production support equipment\nExperience with preventative maintenance programs, CMMS systems, or electronic maintenance tracking\nExperience with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs\nExperience with plumbing, HVAC, pumps, motors, compressors, or other facility systems\nExperience performing inspections and identifying potential equipment failures\nExperience coordinating or working alongside outside contractors and service vendors\nWelding, fabrication, or general maintenance experience\nPrevious experience with grounds maintenance and commercial facility upkeep\nOSHA or other relevant safety certifications\nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and systems quickly\nBenefits & Perks\nGTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
