This role is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving quality processes across manufacturing and production operations.\nThe Quality Engineer will apply risk-based thinking, lead Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), analyze quality data, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and protect the GTI brand.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and maintain the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).\nMonitor, analyze, and improve production and quality processes using data-driven methodologies.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and trend reports to support operational reviews and management reporting.\nConduct risk assessments using tools such as PFMEA, control plans, and risk registers.\nDevelop and maintain Quality Plans and quality control strategies based on customer and regulatory requirements.\nLead Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and verify effectiveness of implemented solutions.\nSupport defect prevention initiatives through standardization, training, process validation, and built-in quality methods.\nPerform and support inspections, testing, monitoring, and verification activities to ensure product conformity.\nParticipate in MRB activities, nonconformance investigations, and rework verification processes.\nSupport internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.\nMaintain accurate quality documentation and records to ensure traceability and audit readiness.\nEscalate quality risks, compliance concerns, and systemic issues to Quality leadership when necessary.\nCollaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Safety, and Program teams to resolve quality-related issues.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.\n3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or related industrial environment.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.\nExperience with RCCA methodologies and quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, 5 Why, Fishbone, and SPC.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using quality metrics and data analysis.\nExperience supporting audits, inspections, and nonconformance processes.\nAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication, organization, and documentation skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality reporting systems.\nBenefits & Perks\nGTI Energy offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support employees and their families while providing long-term career growth opportunities within a fast-growing manufacturing organization.
