This position is relied upon to expand and improve the network, resolve issues and help GT employees each and every day.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES\nServe as first point of contact between end-users and IT staff to identify the root cause of an issue.\nCommunicate regularly with office staff to ensure computer equipment is working correctly and respond in a timely manner to solve problems.\nRegular, skilled use of more complex machines, including word processors or personal computers; responsible for basic troubleshooting and repair or manipulation of data using published software.\nKeep computers and peripherals up to date and functioning properly.\nScreen complex, technical or specialized literature for referral.\nMake and implement recommendations based on the problem identified.\nPerform routine maintenance and management of infrastructure and systems.\nSupport Cloud infrastructure settings and deployment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\nDegree in Information Technology preferred\nEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\nCompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certification or equivalent experience a plus\nExcellent customer service skills\nAttention to detail; Excellence in quality of work\nAbility to identify difference between and resolve hardware and software issues\nNetwork troubleshooting basics\nAdvanced Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems\nAdvanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products\nFamiliar with Microsoft Server Products including, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 (Active Directory; DHCP; DNS; Print Server)\nKnowledge of mobile device configuration\nKnowledge of installing and managing antivirus software\nAbility to work independently and efficiently manage time\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork is primarily performed in an office setting. Requires light lifting of computer equipment.
