This role focuses on security investigations, penetration testing, vulnerability validation, security issue analysis, false-positive review, secure code review support, and remediation guidance while working closely with the dedicated 24/7 SOC monitoring team and internal engineering teams.\nKey Responsibilites;\nInvestigate cybersecurity incidents and breaches, identify root causes, validate impact, and support containment and remediation.\nConduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and third-party security questionnaire reviews.\nParticipate in on-call incident response outside normal working hours when urgent incidents require support.\nValidate asset security controls, review scan results, and track confirmed issues through remediation.\nSupport security platforms used for investigations, threat validation, incident response, vulnerability validation, and compliance.\nReview and investigate SOC-referred SIEM, EDR, endpoint, cloud, network, and vulnerability findings through resolution.\nAnalyze false positives, reproduce issues, verify exploitability, assess impact, and recommend remediation.\nPerform targeted threat hunting across logs, endpoint telemetry, cloud activity, network events, and threat intelligence.\nReview security issues in production and development environments, including secure code review and remediation validation.\nUse AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor for secure code review, issue reproduction, and vulnerability validation.\nEngage vendors and clients on security findings, risks, reviews, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.\nConduct security awareness sessions for internal teams.\nDevelop runbooks and align procedures with teams, processes, and technologies.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\nMinimum two years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in investigations, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, application security, or secure software development.\nMandatory software development background, with the ability to understand code, reproduce security issues, and guide remediation.\nAt least one recognized cybersecurity certification, such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity.\nExcellent communication skills to work with vendors, clients, internal teams, and explain findings, risks, remediation, and proof-of-concept outcomes.\nAbility to deliver security awareness sessions, technical walkthroughs, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.\nPositive attitude, strong learning mindset, and professional interpersonal skills.\nHands-on experience with Kali Linux or similar tools for penetration testing, security research, and reverse engineering.\nExperience using SIEM and EDR outputs for investigation, alert validation, false-positive review, and incident response support.\nExperience with threat hunting using SIEM queries, EDR telemetry, threat intelligence, IOCs, and MITRE ATT&CK techniques.\nWillingness to support on-call cybersecurity incident response outside normal working hours when required.\nWorking knowledge of Linux and at least one scripting language, preferably Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nKnowledge of hacking concepts, application security, and secure code review.\nAdded Advantage;\nAdditional certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), CompTIA PenTest+, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, or equivalent practitioner-level security certifications.\nAbout the opportuniy;\nThis opportunity is suited for a hands-on cybersecurity practitioner with a software development mindset who wants to deepen expertise in investigations, penetration testing, vulnerability validation, secure code review, cloud security, compliance, and practical remediation across a global operating environment.\nOur Culture\nWe believe innovation relies on inclusion and diversity.
