You'll contribute to internal developer platforms and control plane capabilities that simplify how engineering teams build, deploy, operate, govern, and troubleshoot applications across cloud environments.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who understands modern cloud and DevOps practices, enjoys solving engineering productivity problems, and is comfortable integrating AI technologies into real engineering workflows.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlatform Engineering & Product Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain capabilities within our Internal Developer Platform / Internal Control Plane\nBuild reliable backend services, APIs, integrations, and workflows used by engineering teams\nDevelop self-service capabilities that reduce manual operational work and improve developer experience\nBuild reusable platform services and abstractions rather than one-off automation scripts\nContribute to service catalogs, environment management, release management, governance, developer portals, and golden paths\nBuild user-friendly platform interfaces and APIs that abstract away unnecessary infrastructure complexity\nDevelop event-driven and workflow-driven automation for engineering processes\nSoftware Engineering\nDevelop production-quality applications and services using modern software engineering practices\nDesign clean, maintainable, testable, and extensible software architectures\nCloud Engineering\nDevelop multi-cloud solutions running across AWS and Azure\nWork with cloud services including compute, storage, networking, IAM, containers, serverless, and managed services\nCI/CD & Developer Experience\nDevelop, improve, and refactor CI/CD pipelines, reusable pipeline components, and deployment workflows\nIntegrate platform capabilities with GitLab CI/CD\nImprove developer experience through golden paths, project scaffolding, and automated governance\nAI-Assisted Engineering\nDevelop AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic automation for Platform Engineering and DevOps use cases\nBuild solutions capable of analysing engineering metrics\nWork with APIs and SDKs from modern AI platforms and model providers\nBuild AI capabilities with appropriate security, governance, observability, cost controls, and human approval mechanisms\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent)\nExperience with at least one modern programming language: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Go\nSolid grounding in REST APIs, backend application development, OOP and/or functional programming, data structures and algorithms\nExperience with Git and automated testing\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and software design fundamentals\nAdded Advantages\nWorking knowledge of AWS and/or Azure\nExperience with GitLab or equivalent source code platforms\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and best practices\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Packer)\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)\nComfort with Linux, cloud IAM and security fundamentals, networking fundamentals, and monitoring/logging tools\nPrior professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering\nDemonstrated experience developing software or engineering automation\n\nOur Culture\n\n We believe innovation relies on inclusion and diversity.
