This team is composed of skilled individuals responsible for a range of disciplines, which include task allocation and coordination of work activities, service delivery and follow-up of delivery progress. Efficient and timely coordination of Vendor delivery is vital to ensure GTT’s customers receive the highest quality of service delivery.\nJob Scope/Supervision:\nThe Vendor coordinator will place orders with our vendor for circuits then track each order through completion, keeping all stakeholders updated on the progress. Key interface points are the vendors, the Project Managers, Service Delivery Coordinators, Engineers and Management teams. The Vendor Coordinator reports to the Manager of Vendor Coordinators.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for all deliveries assigned to him/her.\nManage third party resources ensuing that the customer’s orders are delivered on time and to the specified quantity and technical requirements.\nCommunicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of delivery process is available and being communicated to customers during the entire delivery life cycle.\nDirect planning of vendor installations with customer site contacts.\nEnsure vendor handover documentation is provided and accurate.\nProactively develop and improve validation checks per service and in the delivery process supporting system automation and process improvement.\nProvide support and advise to other members of the delivery team as needed.\nProactively escalate to manager when needed.\nRequired Experience/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree certificate recognized by the government or posses equivalent qualification recognized by UGC/AICTE/ NAAC/ DTE. This should be a full-time degree course recognized by the Central/State Government of India.\no\nEducation gap should be a maximum of 2 years, if any, between 10th and graduation.\no\nCandidates must not have any pending attendance requirement with the college.\nMinimum of 2 years experience in telecommunications with a knowledge of the European and/or US markets. Preferred 2+ years experience as a Vendor Coordinator, Service Delivery Coordinator or similar role.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional European languages are a plus.\nAbility to present ideas and facts in a convincing way gaining commitment and support.\nProactive nature. Anticipates and analyse problems then determine appropriate solution or alternative.\n2\nAbility to gather, screen and interpret a wide variety of detailed information yet remain\nfocused on the “big picture”.\nAbility to remain flexible and perform effectively in changing environments.\nPersonal focus on continuous improvements.\nProficient in MS suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio\nDesirable Experience/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or higher degree, preferably in telecommunications field.\nTelecommunications experience in Service Delivery or NOC.\nKnowledge of telecommunications networks including IP/Packet Transmission.\nHours/Travel/Shift:\nNight Shift. Full time employees will work a 40 hour week (8 hours per day excluding 1 hour for\nmeal).
