This role drives standardized reporting, operational insights, data quality and governance to support decision-making and performance improvement. The role extends beyond traditional BI into predictive analytics and data-driven decision support to identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities. It ensures that data is translated into actionable, forward-looking insights to influence strategic and commercial outcomes.\nRequirements\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree / diploma in one of the following fields: Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Information Technology.\nExperience:\nProven experience working as a business intelligence or in a similar role, preferably in the life and non-life insurance industry\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as in data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)\nMinimum of 4 years’ working experience in the following:\nPower BI (essential)\nSSIS (essential)\nSSRS (essential)\nDatabricks (essential)\nPython (essential)\nAzure Data Factories (essential)\nAzure Synapse Analytics (essential)\nPython / R, C++, C#, Java (critical)\nMicrosoft SQL Server (critical)\nT-SQL (critical)\nExperience in insurance analytics strongly preferred (claims, troubleshooting and support of the reporting and analytics platform\nDevelop BI solutions using SQL, ETL scripting, business intelligence tools, database programming and reporting tools on the Microsoft BI Stack\nDevelop operational BI dashboards for Claims, Procurement and Operations;\nBuild governed semantic layer ensuring single version of the truth; maintaining data model schema, hierarchy within data warehouses and reporting systems\nIntegrate and standardize data across PAS and external systems;\nDeliver claims analytics (cycle time, leakage, SLAs) with predictive insights on claims leakage, severity and settlement trends\nDeliver procurement analytics (spend, supplier performance) including cost optimisation opportunities\nDeliver broker and binder monitoring and analytics including performance forecasting and risk analysis\nDevelop product and commercial analytics including profitability drivers and growth opportunities\nAssist with actuarial pricing embedment within the business and development of processes to support end to end pricing\nEnable operational process monitoring and reporting with forward looking KPIs and predictive alerts\nSupport data quality, reconciliations and controls;\nDocument BI assets and reporting definitions;\nAutomate recurring reporting processes. \nCompetencies\nMust have prior experience developing business intelligence solutions in large or midsize companies.\nMust be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly.\nMust be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions.\nMust have experience in reporting and business intelligence solutions.\nMust be able to develop, maintain, review and explain data models.\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMust be a team player and able to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.\nMust have extensive experience with T-SQL.\nUnderstanding of the financial services industry desired, especially Insurance.\nExperience using data visualization tools, e.g., Power BI .\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.\nExperience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform,
