In this role, you will work across multiple business functions, evaluate operational and regulatory risks, and partner with leadership to improve processes and control effectiveness.\nThis position is ideal for an experienced audit professional who can independently manage audits, communicate effectively with senior leaders, and provide practical recommendations that support business objectives.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead complex, high-risk, and cross-functional audit engagements from planning through reporting.\nAssess business risks, internal controls, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.\nDevelop audit strategies and risk assessments for key business areas.\nEvaluate compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and established control frameworks.\nPresent audit findings, risk implications, and recommendations to management and senior leadership.\nSupport special projects, investigations, consulting engagements, and process improvement initiatives.\nContribute to audit planning, risk assessment activities, and the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies.\nIdentify emerging risks and systemic control issues that could impact organizational objectives.\nMentor and provide guidance to internal audit team members.\nPromote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the Internal Audit function.\nQualifications\n5+ years of recent P&C internal audit experience.\nBachelor's degree required; professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA, or similar credential preferred.\nStrong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, insurance operations, MAR/SOX frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nExperience leading complex audits with minimal supervision.\nAbility to assess significant business risks and evaluate control environments.\nStrong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendation to senior leadership.\nDemonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.\nWhat You'll Bring\nA risk-based mindset and sounds professional judgment.\nThe ability to build credibility with stakeholders across the organization.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nA collaborative approach to identifying solutions and improving business processes.\nIf you are an experienced audit professional looking to make a meaningful impact through independent assurance, risk assessment, and advisory work, we encourage you to apply.\nSalary $85,000 - $150,000 + bonus\nIn accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good-faith estimate. That said, we recognize great talent can be found anywhere and will consider remote candidates whose skills and experience align closely with the requirements of the role.\nTravel: While this role offers flexibility, employees are expected to travel to our corporate office in Pennsylvania a minimum of once per quarter for in-person meetings, collaboration, and other business needs.
