This is a great opportunity to start a career in insurance and claims. No prior Workers' Compensation claims handling experience is required.\nYou'll participate in a structured training program designed to teach you the fundamentals of Workers' Compensation claims handling, including claims evaluation, compensability, medical management, benefit delivery, and return-to-work practices. As you build your knowledge and experience, you'll help injured workers navigate their recovery while developing the skills needed for a career in claims.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLearn to evaluate claims and determine compensability in accordance with applicable laws and company guidelines.\nCommunicate with employers, injured workers, medical providers, and other parties throughout the claim process.\nAuthorize and monitor medical treatment and coordinate care with providers.\nSupport return-to-work efforts and the timely delivery of appropriate benefits.\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of claim activity.\nDevelop the skills needed to independently manage Workers’ Compensation claims as training progresses.\nQualifications\nAssociate or bachelor's degree and experience in customer service or service-oriented environment preferred. Candidates without an associate or bachelor's degree must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of relevant insurance experience. \nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nComfortable with frequent phone communication and multitasking.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nLicensing Requirement: Candidates must hold an active adjuster license or be willing and able to obtain and maintain all required state licenses.
