Instead, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team behind the scenes, helping make sure our patients receive the medications they need, when they need them.\nThis is afast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment, so it’s a great fit for an experienced technician who enjoys staying busy, knows how to prioritize, and takes pride in keeping work moving while maintaining accuracy.\nSchedule\nStart times vary between8:00 AM and 10:30 AM\n\nEnd times range between5:00 PM and 7:30 PM\n\nTypically workone weekend day per week\n\nOne full weekend off per month\n\nMust be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping ourhigh-volume pharmacy running smoothly. You’ll enter and process prescriptions quickly and accurately while working closely with your teammates to meet daily deadlines and delivery schedules.\nKey responsibilities include:\nEnter new and refill prescriptions intoFramework and other pharmacy systems accurately and efficiently.\n\nTriage incoming fax prescriptions to help ensure timely processing and dispensing.\n\nEnter appropriate notes and cycle-fill coding into the pharmacy system.\n\nCalculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.\n\nReceive, evaluate, process, and follow up with doctors’ offices on assigned refills.\n\nMaintain accurate data entry records for cycle medications, fill requests, renewals, and new cycle orders.\n\nUse pharmacy systems effectively, including document imaging and legacy pharmacy computer systems.\n\nUnderstand and manageCycle processes to help meet delivery deadlines.\n\nConsistently meet the pharmacy’s establishedaccuracy and productivity standards.\n\nTroubleshoot, research, and resolve customer service issues using your pharmacy knowledge and experience.\n\nCommunicate with customers by telephone in a caring, understanding, and courteous manner, routing calls as appropriate.\n\nComplete assigned prescriptions within your regular shift.\n\nWork closely with teammates to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow, especially during periods of high volume.\n\nWhen needed, assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, inventory, profiling orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions.\n\nPerform other duties as needed to support the pharmacy team.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for an experienced pharmacy technician who iscomfortable working in a high-volume environment, can maintain accuracy while working at a steady pace, and enjoys being part of a team.\nRequired:\n3+ years of related pharmacy experience, including experience working in ahigh-volume pharmacy environment.\n\nAt least6 months of pharmacy data entry experience in a long-term care or managed care setting.\n\nWA State Pharmacy Technician License - REQUIRED.\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED, as required by state regulations.\n\nExperience with pharmacy computer systems; familiarity withFramework preferred.\n\nKnowledge of brand-name and generic medications and SIG codes.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, even when processing a large volume of prescriptions.\n\nAbility to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems with minimal direction.\n\nWillingness to speak up and ask questions when something doesn’t look right.\n\nWhat Makes Someone a Great Fit\nWork Ethic & Integrity\nYou take pride in your work, follow through on your responsibilities, and do the right thing even when no one is watching.\nTeamwork\nYou’re someone your coworkers can count on.
