In this role you will support the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition.\nResponsibilities\nYour duties will include amongst others:\nAP accounting:\nRegister incoming invoices according to Belgian accounting and VAT principles and get them through the approval cycle;\nPayments of suppliers and reconciliation of outgoing payments;\nReview and register expense notes.\nGeneral accounting\nBook and reconcile bank statements;\nRegister journal entries;\nRegister payroll bookings;\nRegister fixed assets and book depreciations;\nRegister prepaid expenses and provisions;\nFiling Belgian VAT returns;\nRegister prepaid expenses and provisions.\nProfile\nBachelor in a relevant field (Finance, Accountancy) or assimilated by experience.\n0-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
