initiatives, infrastructure migrations and the ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork Infrastructure Administration\nDesign, implement, administer and optimize enterprise network infrastructures.\nConfigure, maintain and monitor LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN environments.\nAdminister Cisco networking components, wireless infrastructure and Fortinet firewall solutions.\nManage site-to-site VPN connections and secure remote connectivity solutions.\nEnsure high availability, performance, and reliability of network services.\nInfrastructure Projects & Migrations\nSupport network infrastructure modernization initiatives and hardware refresh projects.\nAssist with the migration of existing locations to new network platforms and technologies.\nDevelop configurations, port profiles, implementation plans and migration procedures.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation related to network architecture and operations.\nNetwork Security\nAdminister and maintain firewall environments and security policies.\nContribute to the development and implementation of IT security concepts and standards.\nImplement network access control and port security solutions.\nSupport compliance with corporate cybersecurity requirements and best practices.\nOperations & Monitoring\nMonitor network performance, capacity and availability.\nConduct proactive troubleshooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution.\nEnsure smooth day-to-day operation of network services across all locations.\nSupport performance optimization and capacity planning activities.\nEnd User & Service Support\nProvide first- and second-level support within the networking domain.\nSupport users and customer systems remotely or by telephone.\nCoordinate and manage activities performed by external service providers.\nPrepare and maintain operational and technical documentation.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with global IT infrastructure, security, and operations teams.\nCoordinate with vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers.\nSupport international projects and infrastructure rollouts.\nKey Interfaces\nInternal\nAll IT departments across the organization\nInfrastructure, Security, and Operations teams\nBusiness stakeholders requiring network services\nExternal\nManaged service providers\nNetwork and security vendors\nExternal implementation and support partners\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation\nOne of the following qualifications is preferred:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science\nDegree in Business Informatics\nDegree in Information Technology or related discipline\nCompleted vocational training as an IT Specialist, Network Administrator or comparable technical qualification with several years of relevant experience\nEquivalent practical experience may be considered\nProfessional Experience\nMinimum 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration\nExperience supporting enterprise network environments\nExperience with firewall administration and network security technologies\nCertifications\nPreferred certifications include:\nCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)\nOther Cisco certifications (CCNP or equivalent are advantageous)\nITIL Foundation
