The role is responsible for laboratory operations, testing execution, sensor calibration management, team coordination, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLaboratory Testing Coordination\nCoordinate R&D testing activities, including thermal performance, sound, vibration, electrical, airflow, and pressure drop testing.\nEnsure testing activities are executed according to applicable standards and procedures.\nOversee testing reports and laboratory deliverables.\nSupport prototype preparation and installation activities.\nTeam Leadership\nDelegate activities to Testing & Validation Engineers and Laboratory Technicians.\nCoordinate sensor installation, prototype preparation, calibration activities, and laboratory testing support.\nSupport the development and training of laboratory personnel.\nSensor Calibration & Laboratory Equipment Management\nManage laboratory measurement instruments, including thermometers, flow meters, anemometers, differential pressure meters, sound meters, and calipers.\nEnsure all testing sensors remain properly calibrated.\nMaintain calibration certificates and records.\nCoordinate calibration activities with the Metrology Department.\nResearch & Development Support\nConduct research on thermo-fluid topics, natural refrigerants, and emerging technologies, including Innovation, IoT, Industry 4.0, and Artificial Intelligence.\nSupport activities related to refrigeration systems, thermo-fluid analysis, and concept validation projects.\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nCreate and maintain testing procedures and laboratory documentation.\nUpdate process documentation, risk assessments, environmental risk matrices, KPIs, and improvement plans.\nDrive laboratory performance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSafety & Environmental Compliance\nEnsure safe laboratory operations and proper use of PPE.\nIdentify and report unsafe conditions and behaviors.\nStop activities that could jeopardize personnel safety or product quality.\nPromote compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field.\nAdvanced English proficiency.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in laboratory, testing and validation, thermo-fluid development, or related engineering roles.\nExperience in commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation, or heat exchanger manufacturing industries.\nTechnical Knowledge\nThermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.\nRefrigeration and hydronic systems.\nLaboratory testing and validation methodologies.\nSensor calibration and measurement equipment.\nASTM, DIN, ASME, PED, ASHRAE, CTI, AMCA, and NEMA standards.\nMicrosoft Office 365 tools.\nCompetencies\nLeadership\nStrategic
