This\nposition reports to the Retail Manager.\nJob Description:\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nMonitor, receive, process, and distribute all retail merchandise, grocery and supply orders.\nTrack all incoming shipments through daily receiving logs, verifying accuracy against purchase orders,\nand invoices.\nEnter purchase orders and receiving information into the retail inventory system while maintaining\naccurate inventory records.\nTicket, label, handle, store, rotate, and prepare merchandise for distribution in accordance with\nestablished procedures.\nMaintain inventory accuracy by researching and resolving discrepancies, completing adjustments, and investigating shortages or overages.\nAssist with completing weekly retail cycle counts and assist with quarterly and annual physical\ninventories.\nPrepare reports related to damages, shortages, returns, transfers, and other inventory variances.\nMaintain controls for inventory movement, including cross-unit transfers and proper documentation.\nOrganize and maintain a clean, safe, secure, and efficient stockroom- warehouse environment.\nSupport loss prevention efforts through inventory controls, secure storage practices, and adherence to company procedures.\nAssist with merchandising and sales floor replenishment by stocking displays and creating visually\nappealing presentations that maximize product visibility and enhance the guest experience.\nAssist in training retail associates on proper receiving, inventory handling, stockroom organization, and inventory control procedures.\nSafely operate material handling equipment and other warehouse equipment, as applicable.\nPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nSKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUD E\nHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; some college preferred.\nGeneral Windows-based computer use; knowledge of retail POS system preferred.\nStrong accuracy and attention to detail required.\nPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS\nMoving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.\nLift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.\nAbility to stand for the entire workday and climb steps regularly.\nWithstand temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in, and warehouse.\nReading and writing work-related documents in English.\nSpeech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of vendors, drivers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by same in English.\nConstantly communicate and receive verbal communication with other employees in fast-paced environments.\nPhysical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.\nAbility to travel between different units within the park.\nEQUIPMENT USE D\nDolly, rolling cart\nTypical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others).\nRequired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used: goggles and gloves\nFounded in 1917, Guest Services has worked tirelessly to earn the reputation as the premier hospitality management company and National Park Service concessionaire in the United States.
