Responsibilities include:\nDefine requirements for both unclassified and classified cloud environments and translate them into scalable, secure architecture designs and supporting documentation.\n\nBuild, deploy, and maintain R&D program cloud environments, including Virtual Private Clouds for testing, performer software management, and integrated scoring and evaluation workflows.\n\nDevelop final system designs-covering accreditation-ready architecture formats, CONOPS documentation, cost/resource management plans, and technical guidance.\n\nCreate classified cloud architectures and documentation to support accreditation and enable system testing against classified data characteristics.\n\nProduce summary reports capturing lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for process and security improvements across IT and program operations.\n\nMaintain and update technical documentation, monthly security summaries, cost reports, and integration assessments for vendor provided solutions.\n\nPrepare and document secure integration paths for imagery, audio, vector sources, and other data types required by program environments and evaluation catalogs.\n\nAdminister collaboration, planning, and project-management tools-configuring software platforms, documenting usage, monitoring monthly activity, and managing user accounts and permissions.\n\nSupport cross-program coordination by ensuring collaboration tools are capable of handling large user volumes, private channels, and government-approved SaaS solutions.\n\n** This role requires 5 days a week on client site in Bethesda, MD.\nWhat You Will Need:\nAn ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a technical field\n\nCURRENT Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification\n\nFIVE (5) or more years of experience in cloud engineering. Experience should include but not be limited to:\nConstructing and administering unclassified and classified commercial cloud environments\n\nDefining of cloud requirements; developing architecture diagrams to support an approved Authority to Develop (ATD) determination\n\nRolling out, delivering, and setting up the underlying cloud environment\n\nDeveloping the final system design to support an approved Authority to Operate (ATO) determination\n\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nMasters' degree or PhD in degree in computer science or a related technical field\n\nFOUR (4) or more years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team\n\nONE (1) or more year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
