This role directly supports the forefront of IC decision-making and involves coordination between government partners and external stakeholders.\nKey tasks involve:\nLeading a diverse team of strategy, communications, and multimedia professionals in delivering high-quality and impactful products to drive the Government's advanced research mission forward.\n\nCreating, executing, maintaining, and updating detailed strategic communication plans and campaigns.\n\nCommunicating with key internal and external stakeholders and facilitating strategic engagements.\n\nEstablishing new communication strategies, methods, and measures to improve outreach and assess impact of campaigns and engagements across the IC.\n\nSupporting executive Government leaders in special needs related to outreach such as speeches, briefings, and communication surveys/tools.\n\nReviewing, maintaining, and updating weekly activity reports.\n\n** This role requires 5-days a week on client site in Bethesda, MD.\n What You Will Need:\nAn ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph\n\nBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies,or a communications field.\n\nTEN (10) or more years of experience leading and delivering strategic communications within the federal government and/or intelligence community, leading interdisciplinary teams within the intelligence community, and supporting executive-level intelligence community customers.\n\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nMaster's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies,or a related field.\n\nStrong interpersonal, people management, and customer management skills.\n\nSuperior organization, leadership, and functional communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across multiple individuals and ensure quality and timely delivery of end products.\n\nStrong writing and editing skills and attention to detail.\n\nExperience engaging with Government, academia, and industry.\n\nKnowledge of graphic design and multimedia fundamentals.\n\nKnowledge of web content design, development, and management fundamentals.\n\nKnowledge of video production and photography fundamentals.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
