The Cybersecurity consultant coordinates with different project-implementing divisions and sections, provides oversight of cybersecurity programs and initiatives to the client’s leadership, advises the CISO and Chief Information Officer (CIO) on cybersecurity programs and activities, and provides recommendations to leadership on Cybersecurity portfolio prioritization.\nThe consultant will provide program management support, planning capabilities and business process analysis and assist with developing briefing materials and executive level presentations to support project status briefings. The consultant will also assist leadership and leaderships’ team leads with the facilitation, preparation, and execution of bi-weekly Program Management Review (PMR) sessions with executive leadership and provide input for monthly performance dashboards.\nWhat You Will Need:\nAn ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has ten (10)+ years of experience.\n\nEight (8)+ years of overall work experience.\n\nExperience working in cybersecurity.\n\nProgram/Project Management experience in multifactor authentication initiatives, enterprise logging programs, executive order compliance, CISA binding operational directives and executive level reporting.\n\nStakeholder engagement experience.\n\nAvailable to be on site 5x per week in Washington, DC.\n\nUS Citizenship is contractually required.\n\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nExcellent communication skills\n\nStrong proficiency with creating executive level presentations and briefings\n\nKnowledge of cybersecurity programs and concepts including but not limited to: zero trust, multifactor authentication, enterprise logging, etc.\n\nDepartment of Justice experience a plus\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
