governance operating models including council structures, data stewardship models, decision escalation paths, and integrated controls across data, analytics, and AI.\n\nDefine implementation roadmaps that connect strategy to execution, including sequencing, dependency management, change management, and measurable adoption outcomes.\n\nEstablish AI governance and responsible AI guardrails such as model and use case inventory, risk management workflow, review boards, documentation standards, third-party oversight, and ongoing compliance reporting.\n\nInstitute tactical and functional data governance operations and controls that assist in operationalizing program and product-level governance.\n\nTranslate governance needs into scalable enablement including templates, playbooks, training, and communications that improve adoption and reduce operational friction.\n\nContribute to growth and pursuits by supporting proposal development, scoping, staffing plans, and the creation of reusable assets and accelerators.\n\nAbility to travel as needed based on client and project needs\n\n What You Will Need:\nMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “PUBLIC TRUST”.\n\nBachelor’s degree obtained.\n\nSEVEN (7) or more years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility, including workstream leadership and oversight of junior staff.\n\nExperience leading client workstreams end-to-end, including planning, facilitation, issue resolution, and executive communications.\n\nExperience to configure, architect, advise, and perform hands-on implementation of Collibra Data Catalog platform.\n\nExperience shaping roadmaps and operating models that connect governance to delivery, adoption, and measurable outcomes.\n\nExperience delivering consulting or client-facing work, including workshops, written deliverables, and stakeholder management.\n\nExperience with AI governance concepts such as model risk considerations, transparency and documentation, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.\n\nAbility to travel as needed based on client and project needs\n\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nExperience supporting governance programs in public sector, transportation, and/or other regulated environments.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of data governance fundamentals, such as data stewardship, data lifecycle, metadata, data quality, privacy, and access controls.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in clear, practical language and produce polished client-ready outputs.\n\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work products in a fast-paced environment.\n\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Information Systems, Public Policy, Business, Data/Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).\n\nHands-on experience with additional governance and privacy tooling such as Microsoft Purview, Alation, Informatica, OneTrust, Immuta, Datadog, or similar platforms.\n\nExperience connecting Collibra with other platforms, to include Databricks (Unity Catalog), and onboarding new data assets to the data catalog and metadata ecosystem.\n\nExperience designing or facilitating AI literacy, adoption, and change management efforts, including training plans and communications.\n\nFamiliarity with modern data platforms and delivery patterns such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, lakehouse architectures, and data products.\n\nCertifications in areas pertaining to data governance, privacy, security, cloud, or analytics.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
