This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and wrangling to data engineering, to data visualization, dashboarding, and business intelligence (BI), to predictive analytics. This individual will support mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). They will support all phases of analytic development, from the strategic assessment and identification of opportunities to incorporate advanced analysis and automation, through requirements gathering, data collection, performing analyses to delivery actionable intelligence and support law enforcement efforts. This role requires hands on technical expertise and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nAssess and recommend opportunities to incorporate advanced analysis and automation into current operations\nCollecting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large datasets using tools such as Python, R, and SQL\nDesign and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Power BI\nIdentifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to support investigative efforts and operational decision-making\nAnalyzing existing processes and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization\nSummarizing and presenting results and recommendations through written reports and briefings\nBalance competing priorities including to supporting quick turn and ad hoc requests\nWhat You Will Need:\nAn ACTIVE and MAINTAINED \"TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)\" Federal or DoD security clearance.
