The ideal candidate brings extensive, hands-on expertise in both Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.\nKey Responsibilities:\nData aggregation\nCollect, integrate, and consolidate data from multiple agency systems, databases, spreadsheets, and external sources.\nBuild and maintain data pipelines, extracts, and data models that feed reporting tools.\nPerform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nDocument data sources, definitions, lineage, and business rules.\nData analytics\nAnalyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and performance drivers.\nDevelop metrics, KPIs, and performance measures aligned with agency mission and strategic goals.\nApply descriptive and diagnostic analysis, and support forecasting where appropriate.\nTranslate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.\nData visualization\nDesign, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.\nGather requirements from agency stakeholders and convert them into intuitive visual products.\nApply data visualization best practices and Section 508 accessibility standards.\nOptimize dashboard performance, manage workbooks and datasets, and administer publishing on Tableau Server/Cloud and the Power BI Service.\nBrief findings to agency leadership and produce executive-level presentations.\nClient support\nWork closely with federal program managers, analysts, and the LinkVisum project team.\nTrain end users on dashboards and self-service reporting.\nSupport data governance, security, and privacy requirements, including handling of PII.\nWhat You Will Need:\nMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. \nBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field; FOUR (4) additional years of data analysis, business intelligence, or data visualization can be used in lieu of degree.\nFIVE (5) or more years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data visualization. Experience should include:Extensive, hands-on expertise in Tableau (Desktop, Prep, and Server/Cloud), including calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, actions, and dashboard design.\nExtensive, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, row-level security, and workspace management.\nStrong SQL skills for querying, joining, and transforming data from relational databases.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nProven ability to aggregate and reconcile data from disparate sources.\n\nWhat Will Be Nice to Have:\nActive Public Trust or Secret clearance.\nPrior experience supporting a federal agency, preferably in human capital, workforce, or operational performance analytics.\nTableau certification (Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst) and/or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.\nExperience with Python or R for data preparation and analysis.\nFamiliarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake.\nKnowledge of federal data standards, the Evidence Act, and Section 508 compliance.\nExperience working in an Agile environment.\nThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
