This position is one with varying levels of daily activities in wireless networks, LANS, WANS, electronic security, forensic audio and video as well as telephone and electrical systems. This is a good balance of field and office activity where you will work alongside construction teams in brand new, world class facilities, on the agencies multi-billion dollar expansion, as well as executing ticket type activities to ensure continuity of operations.\nThis role is unique with the perfect blend of activities to widen your skillsets in the network operations (both physical and logical) and to work side - by-side with senior level engineers to solve major agency issues and ensure the network is at a 100% run time.\nApplies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.\nReceives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.\nPerforms such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits; repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.\nInstall and maintain complex communications / network and intrusion detection systems and associated wide / narrow band wireless communication equipment, audio and video equipment, surveillance devices and other security-related equipment.\nPerform technical work in various areas of specialization and functional areas including, but not limited to, electronic surveillance, data network, video analysis, image, audio, wireless, networking, electronic security, microwave etc., to handle routine and well defined special assignments.\nAssist in establishing secure communication systems at a command center or SCF.\nRepair equipment and perform corrective maintenance in assigned programmatic area(s).\nInspect and test equipment / systems to ensure that technical integrity is maintained and if necessary, proposes appropriate corrective action.\nAssist in establishing secure communication systems at a command center or SCF.\nRepair equipment and perform corrective maintenance in assigned programmatic area(s).\nInspect and test equipment / systems to ensure that technical integrity is maintained and if necessary, proposes appropriate corrective action.\nWhat You Will Need:\nMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"TOP SECRET\" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
