This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD.\nCoordinate research participant recruitment, scheduling, travel, lodging, and admission.\nCoordinate screening appointments, procedures, and imaging studies.\nDistribute recruitment/communication materials.\nServe as liaison among patients, families/caregivers, clinical staff, and other stakeholders.\nRespond to and triage patient questions and issues.\nMaintain patient relationships and communications.\nCollect, scan, upload, and maintain medical documentation.\nMaintain patient files and medical records.\nCreate tracking/scheduling reports and spreadsheets.\nCoordinate new patient referrals and obtain outside medical records.\nSupport trainee credentialing documentation.\nMonitor scheduling workflow and resolve conflicts.\nSupport quality improvement and SOP maintenance.\nDevelop training materials and train/mentor Patient Coordinators.\nCoordinate patient travel, lodging, meal reimbursement, and transportation.\nMaintain appointment calendars and send appointment/travel information and reminders.\nWhat You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree OR Associate’s plus TWO (2) years of experience is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.\nMinimum of FOUR (4) years of experience in patient coordination, patient services, or healthcare administrative support within a clinical, hospital, or research setting.\nKnowledge of clinical protocols and medical terminology.\nProficiency in efficiently drafting correspondence and preparing reports from raw data.\nSkills in designing, establishing, and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.\nBackground in scheduling patient appointments and/or coordinating travel arrangements.\nPrior work maintaining patient records related to patient care arrangements.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred.\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nPrevious experience working with NIH preferred.\nAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.\nResourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nThe annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
