The analyst will also document system requirements, defines scope and objectives, assist in the creation of system specifications that drive system development and implementation, function as liaison between Position Management Leadership and end users. The analyst must have both business and technical skills and can perform verification and validation (V&V) on reoccurring or ad hoc Position Management deliverables without clear requirements or direction. In the absence of the Project Manager, the individual will serve as the POC for the Contractor support team and perform all functions as required by Position Management Leadership.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.\nCommunicate effectively, both orally and in writing.\nConduct comprehensive research and analysis.\nDevelop point papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management.\nEducate and inform senior management on various alternatives.\nReview, synthesize, and prepare highly technical, sensitive and complex documents, briefing materials, management directives ad correspondence.\nAnalyze business or operating procedures to devise the most efficient method of accomplishing the work.\nCaptures and communicates customer-specific best practices and lessons-learned, and directs the design, development, and implementation of solutions.\nConducts independent, complex analysis of current operational environments and functional systems to facilitate recommendations supporting customer requirements.\nDevelop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes.\nDocuments requirements, compares alternatives, and translates into detailed specifications, designs, and procedures.\nPlans the technical transitions between development, testing, and production phases of the system/network/data/application.\nIdentifies, defines, interprets, clarifies scope, and provides guidance regarding existing technical difficulties and potential enhancement solutions.\nWhat You Will Need:\nMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. US Citizenship is required\nBachelor’s Degree in business including economics, accounting, management, finance, information technology, business management/administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science/data analytics\nTEN (10) or more years experience in policy evaluation, process improvement, and data analytics. Experience should include:\nIndependently conducting analysis and recommending actions to take based on analysis.\nLeading client meetings.\nProficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint\n\nWhat Is Nice to Have:\nMaster's degree\nIntermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) required, advanced skills (macros, VBA) a plus.\nFamiliarity with data analytic tools such as SQL, Python, R\nFamiliarity with Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik\nCollaborating and working in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently\nIdentifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor\nCommunicating effectively to various audiences, including various levels of management and external clients, in a professional environment\nExperience in commercial or public sector consulting firms\nPrior experience supporting federal finance organizations\nExperience with SharePoint\nThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
