Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nMinimum ten (10) years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Application Modernization, or related technical leadership roles.\n\nMinimum five (5) years of experience leading large-scale enterprise application modernization or digital transformation initiatives.\n\nDemonstrated utility industry experience supporting electric, gas, water, or energy organizations.\n\nExperience developing enterprise application, integration, and cloud architecture strategies.\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft .NET/C# application architectures.\n\nExperience designing REST and SOAP services and enterprise integration solutions.\n\nExperience with Angular-based application architectures.\n\nExperience with SQL Server and relational database design, optimization, and performance tuning.\n\nHands-on experience designing and architecting solutions utilizing Databricks.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud architecture best practices.\n\nKnowledge of event-driven architectures, message queuing technologies, and integration frameworks.\n\nDemonstrated ability to facilitate architecture workshops and communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and presentation development.\n\nAbility and willingness to travel to New York City approximately every other week for 2-3 days per trip (unless based in New York City).\n\nWhat Would Be Nice To Have:\nExperience supporting utility customer, billing, meter, usage, asset management, or operational systems.\n\nExperience with cloud architecture in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nExperience designing large-scale data migration, transformation, and analytics solutions.\n\nExperience developing modernization roadmaps for legacy application portfolios.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.\n\nExperience with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes.\n\nExperience working in consulting environments supporting large-scale technology transformation programs.\n\nExperience leading architecture review boards, governance committees, and technical steering groups.\n\nKnowledge of utility regulatory requirements and operational considerations.\n\nExperience supporting both strategy/design and implementation phases of modernization programs.\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $162,000.00-$270,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
