We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our team.\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with a strong background in network infrastructure, system administration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto) and a solid understanding of routing, switching concepts, firewall policies, and VPN configurations (site-to-site and client-based). In addition to networking skills, proficiency in Windows Server management is required, with experience in Linux and Office 365/messaging systems being highly desirable. Cloud experience, particularly with AWS and Azure, is preferred.\nPrimary duties\nManage network support and related tasks as directed by the client’s designated lead.\nProvide services focused on network setup, documentation, support, and new site installations.\nConfigure and install various network devices and services, including but not limited to:Routers, switches, and firewalls.\nLoad balancers, VPNs, and QoS configurations.\n\nPerform network maintenance and system upgrades, including applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.\nMonitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.\nConduct system resource monitoring, trending, and capacity planning.\nAdhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring all changes are reviewed, approved, and successfully implemented.\nCollaborate with the company’s security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.\nProvide technical support for network and system-related issues within strict SLA windows.\n required skillsExpertise in networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto).\nIn-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and VPN technologies.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, and other communication protocols.\nProficiency in Windows Server management; experience with Active Directory, MFA, and related systems.\nKnowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and integration with messaging systems.\nStrong familiarity with ITIL standards and maintaining PCI compliance in network environments.\nKnowledge of ticketing systems with a proven ability to manage and resolve tickets promptly.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams and clients.\nFlexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nLocal to Dallas area and available to go onsite to customer locations as needed.\nDesired SkillsITIL training or hands-on experience.\nExperience with monitoring tools for system and network performance.\nFamiliarity with patch management processes.\nExperience with Linux systems and Office 365/messaging platforms.\nCloud experience, with a preference for AWS and Azure environments.\nAdditional InformationThis position requires a highly proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
