The role includes training and hands-on experience as a full-stack professional software developer. As a full-stack developer, you will develop, enhance, maintain, and support our codebase of custom applications and interfaces to third-party vendor products. Work will be completed in both team and individual settings. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization; we do not sponsor employment visas or accept students on a student visa.\nWhat you will do:\nTrain as a full-stack professional software developer. Your training will be a blend of videos, reading, researching, coding exercises, and completing an initial project. \nAfter training is completed, you will be assigned projects pulled from various Scrum Team’s backlogs. \nThe work will primarily be web application development using Microsoft tools and frameworks deployed to Azure (Microsoft’s cloud). You can expect to work in C#, Razor, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, WebForms, SQL, and Git. The tools you will use are Visual Studio for application development, SQL Server Management Studio for SQL coding, and Azure Pipelines for CI/CD. \nFollow standards for each of the programming languages you use. \nApply software patterns and best practices to write code and automated tests. \nUtilize Azure for CI/CD, searching code repositories, updating release variables, and researching issues. \nSubmit Pull Requests (PR) for changes you make to code.
