You will drive operational excellence by leveraging AI tools, modern infrastructure-as-code, and native cloud technologies to build scalable, resilient platforms that support Guidewire's global business operations.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nWork with other Infra engineers as part of the Ops team in BizTech.\nWork on active Infra/DevSecOps support and projects.\nMaintain cross-platform system security across Linux and Windows environments through regular vulnerability remediation and automated patching.\nWork as part of a scrum team in a 2-week sprint model.\nDrive end-to-end automation using AI tools, Ansible, Terraform, and native AWS automation. services.\nIntegrate and maintain various operational solutions, including DataDog, PagerDuty, Slack, and Glean.\nProvision and automate tool deployments leveraging the AWS framework.\nOther ad-hoc tasks related to our wider Infra team’s needs.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to support critical service availability and incident response.\nTechnical Skills & Experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience\nStrong foundational knowledge of AWS cloud platform, cloud networking, and Linux/Windows system administration.\nHands-on experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or PowerShell.\nFamiliarity with APIs, web services, and integration standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, OAuth)\nSolid experience with CI/CD platforms and pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).\nProfessional & Soft Skills:\nApply an Agile, systematic problem-solving approach to all challenges.\nExhibit strong interpersonal skills, a sense of ownership, and personal drive.\nDemonstrate a proven ability to embrace and apply AI/ML concepts to the role for driving innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.\nShow an ability to rapidly absorb new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nMaintain strong communication and teamwork skills in an Agile environment.\nWork effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.\nAbout Guidewire\nGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
