These capabilities provide Agents and Policy Holders interfaces to quickly and easily create and service insurance policies.\nWe’re committed to an inclusive workspace that embraces people with diverse\nbackgrounds, experiences, skills, and talents.\nAs a Digital Architect in Professional Services, you will:\nLead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React (4-5+ years), and Guidewire’s Jutro design system.\nCollaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services.\nApply expertise in CSS, SASS, automated unit testing (Jest/Enzyme), and server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST).\nMentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.\nDemonstrate strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.\nSupport migration projects from AngularJS to React and leverage UX prototyping tools (Invision, Sketch) as needed.\nTravel for onsite client engagements as required.\nKey Qualifications:\n5+ years of software development experience with web technologies.\nProven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.\nInsurance industry experience is a plus.\nOther Skills:\nInsurance industry experience\nAble to demonstrate experience with building web/mobile services and single-page applications\nEffective communication and collaboration skills and experience interacting with team members and project sponsors\nHighly motivated, result-driven, and tenacious problem solver\nFluent in Japanese\nStrong English skills\nNice to have:\nExposure to Figma, Invision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools\n#LI-AA1\nAbout Guidewire\nGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
