You will collaborate closely with teams located around the world and adhere to our core values Integrity, Collegiality, and Rationality.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nYou will design and propose high level design diagrams for overall system architecture and adopt AI forward thinking.\n\nYou will lead Inception Sessions to build consensus on project scope, and generate user stories with acceptance criteria and contribute actively to the evolution and fine tuning of Guidewire Vantage Methodology.\n\nYou will work closely with business analysts to derive Data Management and Analytics technical solutions from Business Requirements Documents.\n\nYou will collaborate with data analysts, ETL and BI developers, and QA testers to assign appropriate implementation and testing tasks and deliver sprint goals.\n\nYou will analyze complex data structures in legacy source systems and help the business and data analysts to map them to the Guidewire InsuranceSuite data model. You will accelerate the processes by adopting AI forward thinking and actively optimizing and AI enabling all of Guidewire Data Platform and analytics offerings.\n\nYou will manage the end-to-end data loading process, including pre-load validation, execution of load jobs, and post-load verification.\n\nYou will optimize migration processes for performance, making configuration adjustments to improve speed and efficiency, particularly when dealing with large data volumes, to meet project SLAs.\n\nYou will enable offshore teams to be successful in delivering agreed upon business requirements while conforming to Guidewire best practices & standards.\n\nWork with the PMO providing domain expertise to achieve successful project outcomes.\n\nLead efforts to harvest project collateral to build out collateral to enable repeatability.\n\nCreate new tooling to streamline data processing when called upon or when the opportunity presents itself\n\nSystematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a sense of ownership and drive\n\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment\n\nAt Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI-empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.\n\nGuidewire consultants are expected to spend up to 50% of their time on-site with the customer business and technical teams.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent level of demonstrable professional competency\n\n8+ years in a Senior technical role building out complex Data Integration frameworks.\n\nDeep understanding of the P&C insurance domain, including concepts like policies, claims, billing, and underwriting.\n\nFundamental understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite Applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactManager) at an atomic level.\n\nIf specializing on the Ingress to InsuranceSuite Applications from Legacy Sources, then working knowledge of migrating into Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications is required.\n\nIf specializing on the Egress side, then working knowledge of at least one technology stack among AWS, DataBricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery etc. is required.\n\nIf specializing in delivering statutory and regulatory reporting, and analytics then well rounded knowledge of P&C Insurance and Workers Compensation domain concepts, requirements gathering sessions, BI architecture and delivery template design and automation is required.\n\nStrong knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts. 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing projects\n\n5+ years of Experience with leading BI developers and architects to deliver complete solution stacks.\n\n5+ years of Experience with data processing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, and Transform) concepts.\n\nAt least 3 years of experience leading design review sessions to build consensus among diverse groups of technical and business participants.\n\nAt least 3 years in a leadership capacity for delivering complex data transformation initiatives including mentoring and team building.\n\nExperience working in Guidewire Data Migration/Data Platform projects.\n\nExperience working with relational databases\n\nExperience working with customer teams to understand business objectives and functional requirements.\n\nEffective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team.\n\nDemonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.\n\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity in Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks\n\nExperience with NoSQL databases\n\nExperience working with different cloud platforms (such as AWS, DataBricks, Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud, etc.)\n\nExperience in adopting AI platforms like Claude code to deliver business value and reduce implementation cycle time.\n\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $227,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan.
