You'll shape how Guidewire delivers infrastructure as a product - with a focus on developer experience, scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.\nJob Description\nWhat you'll do\nWe are looking for candidates with 10+ years of overall work experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Product Management\n\nOwn the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform services within CCS/Atmos - spanning areas such as Kubernetes-based compute, networking, observability, deployment tooling, and shared platform services.\n\nGain deep understanding of the Guidewire Cloud ecosystem, the multi-tenant/hybrid-tenancy architecture, the market, competition, and the needs of both internal developer teams and external customers.\n\nTreat platform infrastructure as a product: define capabilities that improve developer productivity, self-service, and time-to-value across the organization.\n\nWork collaboratively with Engineering, SRE/Operations, UX, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement to define and maximize the value of platform solutions.\n\nDevelop pragmatic solutions to complex distributed-systems and platform problems, collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to discover, test, refine, and prioritize solutions.\n\nBuild and communicate roadmaps and requirements with clear use cases, ROI, and acceptance criteria for the appropriate stakeholders.\n\nLaunch new platform services and features, measure their performance, and iterate quickly.\n\nBe a power user of the platform capabilities you build.\n\nChampion a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI - leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.\n\nWe're looking for someone who\nHas strong experience building or managing platform / infrastructure products, ideally cloud-native services offered to internal or external developers (\"platform as a product\" mindset).\n\nHas a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with AWS services(preferably certified as AWS Cloud Practitioner).\n\nUnderstands containerization and container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)and the operational realities of running services at scale.\n\nIs familiar with core platform concerns - networking, observability/monitoring, CI/CD, multi-tenancy, reliability (SLO/SLA), and cost optimization.\n\nCan define and articulate product roadmaps with solid use cases and associated ROI.\n\nWill detail feature requirements/specifications with clear acceptance criteria.\n\nCan establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.\n\nWill collaborate with engineering and operations teams through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance to ensure quality and successful delivery.\n\nCan find and lead opportunities for revenue growth, customer adoption, and improved customer satisfaction.\n\nIs comfortable managing and prioritizing product backlogs to get things done.\n\nDemonstrates the ability to embrace AI and data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.\n\nNice to have\nFamiliarity with identity and access managementconcepts - SAML, OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SSO, SCIM, and related AuthN/Z patterns - and how they apply to platform services.\n\nExperience with load balancing and networking in cloud environments.\n\nAWS Cloud Practitioner (or higher) certification.\n\nFamiliarity with AHA and JIRA.\n\nStrong mentoring and coaching experience as a Product Manager.\n\nAbility to travel 5-10% as needed.\n\nRole-specific competencies\nCustomer Need:Comfortable communicating with internal (developer teams) and external customers, understanding their underserved needs and documenting use cases.\n\nProduct Strategy:Ability to distill customer needs, market signals, analyst voice, and SME input into an actionable, pragmatic platform strategy and requirements.\n\nCollaboration:A multiplier mindset with a demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams.\n\nResults Driven:A data-driven PM who stays ahead of market and customer needs.\n\nCommunication:Able to articulate both the technical and business-value impact of platform investments to Guidewire's goals.\n\nMotivation:A deep love and appreciation for the craft of product management.\n\nAbout Guidewire\nGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
