They communicate well with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities\nManage complex and cloud-scale technical security programs to meet Guidewire’s business objectives\n\nDefine and lead roadmap execution for critical security functions and programs\n\nEvaluate program design, tooling and workflows through an AI lens, identifying where AI and automation can reduce manual effort and improve outcomes across the security organization\n\nChampion responsible adoption of AI within the Security organization including AI assisted program management, reporting, and analysis in your own work\n\nDevelop strong partnerships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders across the organization\n\nLead with data and promote a culture of metrics driven decision-making, while holding stakeholders accountable\n\nBe a thought leader to drive strategic change and help advance our security maturity, including how AI is reshaping the security landscape\n\nCommunicate effectively verbally and in written form, both internal and external stakeholders including execs, engineering leads, consultants, and vendors\n\nRequirements\nYou are a pragmatic security expert and a hands-on technical program manager\n\nYou are genuinely curious about AI and actively use AI tools in your daily work, stay current on AI capabilities and default to asking “how can AI improve this?” when evaluating any program, process or problem\n\nYou understand emerging and tried and tested security technology including AI enabled security technology and how it applies to both cloud products and an enterprise environment\n\nYou are open minded and comfortable with ambiguity as AI rapidly changes the security landscape, and you can distinguish genuine AI value from hype\n\nYou evangelize proactive security within the organization and educate and influence stakeholders in building a secure environment, including secure and responsible AI adoption\n\nYou enjoy working on hard problems with no clear answers and can work with SMEs to design, scope, and iterate to create prototypes to demonstrate value\n\nYou have experience driving security programs for a cloud company and its practical applications\n\nYou understand the value of efficient processes and constantly look to improve them for productive scaling, leveraging automation and AI where it drives measurable benefit\n\nYou are data driven, analytical, and can turn information into action\n\nQualifications\nB.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant technical fields\n\n5+ years of experience documenting processes, security requirements, and managing complexcloud-scale technical security programs for an enterprise company\n\n3+ years of experience with managing IGA, privilege assessment management, Zero Trust, and single sign-on solutions programs\n\nExperience with SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, or equivalent preferred\n\nFamiliarity with application of the NIST Cyber Security Framework towards security program maturity\n\nExperience evaluating of governing enterprise AI adoption (AI usage policies, AI tool assessments, model/data risk considerations) preferred\n\nDemonstrate end-to-end ownership of security and across multiple teams, influence product security program direction and plans\n\nStrong business acumen with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiating skills\n\nThe Canadian CAD base salary range for this full-time position is 120,000.00 - 150,000.00. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan.
