The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all project disciplines, while working closely with joint venture partners, contractors, and project teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the project\nIdentify, assess, and monitor project risks across all disciplines, including technical, commercial, financial, and operational areas\nLiaise with JV partners, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place\nConduct risk workshops, prepare risk registers, and update risk dashboards for senior management\nSupport decision-making by analyzing risk impacts on schedule, cost, and project objectives\nProvide guidance on claims, contractual risks, and potential dispute mitigation\nEnsure integration of risk management with project controls, planning, and execution processes\nPrepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)\nMinimum 12-15 years of experience in risk management or project controls for large infrastructure projects\nProven experience in joint venture (JV) project environments\nStrong understanding of construction, civil, and rail project risks\nExperience in the UAE or GCC region preferred\nExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nPreferred Qualifications & Skills:\nExperience in high-speed rail, metro, or large transportation infrastructure projects\nFamiliarity with FIDIC contracts, claims management, and project governance\nProficient in risk management and project controls tools\nAbility to work effectively in multinational, complex project environments\nStrategic thinking, problem-solving, and proactive risk mitigation
