Creating and\ndelivering the world’s finest aviation experience starts with our people and when our people thrive, so does our mission.\nThe successful candidate will:\n-Implement lean manufacturing initiatives throughout the flight test operations environment\n-Drive for cycle time and waste reductions\n-Develop, plan and implement business layouts, process flows, tooling/equipment and cost and quality improvements\n-Have experience leading and communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences\nPrevious experience working as a floor support Manufacturing Engineer with Gulfstream and/or in a high-paced\naviation manufacturing/mechanical environment is highly preferred.\nExperience with SmarTeam, CATIA v5, Solumina II (specifically working Discrepancy Reports/Items, work order alteration),\nAircraft Information Retrieval (AIR), SAP (M-BOM creation, item creation) or similar software is highly desired.\nOther Requirements:\nProven knowledge and understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and processes.\nKnowledgeable in Engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading, and shop math.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nBachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 ys in specific technical discipline or 10 yrs broad eng experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters, 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
