# Software Engineer

Location: REMOTE / Toronto, Ontario This job allows you to work remotely. We’re working with an established global SaaS company that is expanding its engineering team and looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help build and evolve its core platform. The company operates a data-intensive software platform that processes large volumes of transactional data and supports customers around the world. As the platform continues to grow, the engineering team is solving increasingly complex problems involving distributed systems, data processing, scalability, reliability, and product development. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys owning meaningful product features from beginning to end. You’ll work primarily across a modern Java backend while also contributing to the broader application and cloud environment. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and customer-facing teams to understand problems, make sensible technical tradeoffs, and turn business requirements into reliable production software.
