The company has a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are available to help with any problems that may arise.\nWe are looking for a Customer Project Manager (f/m/d) for our UPS production site.In this role you will manage exciting projects in an international industrial environment, lead the respective project teams, monitor, and control financial progress and budget and finally be the main point of contact towards our customers.\nYou will accompany the projects from order to commissioning, support in technical questions and actively contribute to develop our Solution Center Project Management Team at Gutor.\nYour responsibilities:\nThe Customer Project Manager is the primary customer contact person in managing customer projects to ensure projects are delivered within a timeline, scope and cost.\nThe Customer Project Manager is also responsible in managing customer communication and act as customer focal point throughout project execution Internal immediately from project transfer stage from Sales department through to the closure of the project.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCustomer Management:\nPoint of contact for Project and Technical Communication with the customer during FAT.\nResponsible for customer inspections (PIM/FAT/Packing Inspection).\nEnsures that Customer requests and questions are answered or transferred to the project team if they cannot be addressed immediately.\nTravel for Kick of Meetings (KOM) / progress meetings depending on projects when necessary.\nFAT Execution:\nMakes sure upfront that the systems are ready for FAT.\nPerforms FAT with Client on behalf of Outstation PMs.\nEnsures that Outstation PMs initiate planning of the FAT on time.\nIdentifies and minimizes non-conformance costs (Punch Items and Re-FAT).\nEnsures a proper Closing of Punch Items.\nSystem Release if all pending Items have been closed.\n3rd party supplier (sub supplier) Management/Inspections:\nAttends FATs of 3rd party supplies at the supplier Site on behalf of the Outstation team.\nAttends Meetings and audits of 3rd party supplier if required. \nCommunication and Coordination:\nEnsures targeted and full communication within the project team and with stakeholders on an international basis.\nEstablishes key relationships within the factory.\nListens to others and communicates in an effective manner.\nProject Execution (Planning, Steering & Controlling):\nEnsures that Sales initiates the hand over to execution. Participation at Customer Kick Off Meeting and initiates internal project Kick Off Meeting.\nHandles the planning elements and milestones according Customer Project Process in coordination with the Project Planning, Operation, Engineering & Customer Service teams (when necessary).\nIdentifies and minimizes non-conformance costs.\nLeads and organizes status meetings for a regular project status review with the project team if required. Close cooperation with the assigned Application Design Engineer.\nMonitors document submission status in cooperation with documentation teams.\nOngoing monitoring of project status, early identification of discrepancies and initiating targeted measures/action.\nPerforms project close review (commercial, lessons learnt, best practice)\nEnsures a proper handover of the project to the Customer Service department.\nFinance Management:\nLeads the project within the defined budget.\nHas cost and margin responsibility for the project as defined at project start.\nInitiates invoicing according to project progress and follows up payment status.\nReviews initial project calculation, highlight and clarify discrepancies.\nParticipate at monthly project control reviews.\nOptimizes project profitability.\nReview final project performance.\nRisk-, Opportunity- and Claim Management:\nThroughout project life cycle, identifies, assesses and monitor all risk factors and opportunities.\nAssesses the contract in terms of claim-relevant significance.\nWork closely with Legal department for legal advise.\nDevises suitable strategies for risk mitigation (elimination, reduction).\nInforms customer, management and project team about scope deviations.\nIdentifies and mitigates external claims (defines costs and argumentation, prepares claim and negotiates change order) in close collaboration with purchasing and Sales/Tendering.\nIdentifies Opportunities for additional business (define costing, prepares offers and negotiate change order) in close collaboration with purchasing and Sales/Tendering).\n3rd party supplier (sub supplier) Management\nInvolves purchasing at an early stage of the project.\nInvolves qualified subcontractors/partners in a timely manner.\nLeads commercial clarifications with support of purchasing and procurement.\nRigorously monitors the performance of the subcontractors/partners, conducts timely escalation (in the event of qualitative shortfalls and problems in cooperation) and, where there are any discrepancies , initiates timely suitable action.\nLeadership & Communication\nParticipates at internal project reviews and management information meetings concerning the project status.\nEnsures targeted and full communication within the project team and with stakeholders on an international basis.\nEstablishes key relationships within the factory.\nListens to others and communicates in an effective manner.\nSupports, trains and coaches new team members based on processes.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS -
