The company has a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are available to help with any problems that may arise.\nThe Engineering Coordinator supports Gutor’s global engineering organization by acting as a key liaison between Gutor Americas and engineering teams in Switzerland and Malaysia. This role helps ensure smooth communication, timely engineering updates, and consistent documentation throughout the life cycle of Gutor industrial UPS systems and power conversion solutions.The ideal candidate is highly self driven, able to interpret technical documentation, comfortable with power electronics, and capable of managing engineering changes (ECOs) with precision and accountability\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nServe as the central communication bridge for Gutor in the Americas between engineering teams in Wettingen, Switzerland and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ensuring alignment on technical updates, engineering priorities, and project requirements.\nExecute local (US) engineering updates, design corrections, and document revisions “on the fly” based on guidance from global engineering leads.\nQuickly troubleshoot and resolve minor technical or documentation-related issues directly on the production floor to prevent delays or workflow stoppages\nAfter implementing or assisting with on-floor fixes, coordinate with engineering teams to ensure proper recording of modifications, diagram updates, and ECO documentation.\nReview, process, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), providing structured feedback to all stakeholders.\nInterpret and work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and Gutor’s documentation standards.\nSupport configuration management by maintaining correct revision control and ensuring that updated documentation is sent to relevant teams and production units.\nCoordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain departments to ensure technical issues are identified and addressed efficiently.\nIdentify documentation inconsistencies or missing information and escalate or resolve them proactively.\nWork independently while managing multiple engineering tasks across different time zones.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n2-3 years of experience in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout documentation.\nHands-on problem-solving skills; able to address minor engineering or documentation issues on the production floor quickly and professionally.\nExperience with engineering documentation processes (ECO/ECR) and revision control.\nStrong communication skills for cross-cultural, multi-site collaboration.\nHighly organized, independent, and detail-oriented.\nThe position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBackground in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.\nExperience with power electronics, specifically UPS systems, rectifiers, inverters, battery chargers, or industrial power-conversion equipment.\nUnderstanding of industrial manufacturing or project-based engineering environments.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nTechnical communication\nCross-functional collaboration\nEngineering documentation control\nTroubleshooting and problem-solving\nIndependence and proactive work habits\nAbility to coordinate multi-site engineering teams\nWHAT WE OFFER\nThe base salary range for this position is $70,000 -
