Tendering & Proposal Leadership\nLead the preparation of strategic, complex, and high-value tenders.\nDevelop technical and commercial solutions that meet customer requirements while optimizing competitiveness and profitability.\nReview customer specifications, technical requirements, commercial terms, and project risks.\nSupport customer clarification meetings, bid reviews, and contract negotiations.\nReview and approve major proposal submissions, technical deviations, and risk assessments.\nPartner with Sales to develop winning strategies for key opportunities.\nII. People Leadership and Resource Management\nLead, coach, and develop a local team Pre-Sales & Tendering Engineers.\nAssign opportunities and balance workload across the team.\nEstablish development plans and provide ongoing technical mentorship.\nConduct performance reviews and career development discussions.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, and succession planning activities.\nPromote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization\nIII. Tendering Process Ownership and Continuous Improvement\nOwn regional tendering processes, tools, templates, and best practices.\nDrive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain and improve estimating tools, sizing methodologies, and proposal templates.\nMonitor proposal quality, turnaround time, and win-rate performance metrics.\nCapture lessons learned from won and lost opportunities.\nEnsure compliance with quality management and internal governance requirements.\nIV. Sales and Business Support\nSupport the Houston sales organization in pursuing opportunities across North and South America.\nParticipate in key customer presentations, strategic reviews, and business planning activities.\nProvide market intelligence and feedback to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams.\nSupport forecasting, resource planning, and organizational development initiatives.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - REQUIRED\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales, tendering, proposal engineering, applications engineering, or technical sales within the electrical power industry.\nMinimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.\nStrong understanding of industrial UPS systems, battery systems, chargers, inverters, and low-voltage power distribution equipment.\nDemonstrated ability to independently develop complex technical and commercial proposals.\nStrong commercial acumen including costing, pricing strategy, margin management, and risk assessment.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL\nExperience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Utilities, Renewable Energy, Data Center, Mining, or Industrial Infrastructure markets.\nFamiliarity with UL, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, IEC, and related industry standards.\nExperience working with customers and projects across North and South America.\nExperience with CRM, SAP, and quotation management systems.\nFluency in Spanish or Portuguese is advantageous.\n\nWORKING HOURS\nThis position will require working hours aligned with the US-based team (Houston, Texas), with adjustments depending on the seasonal time difference.\n Summer Schedule: 4:00 PM -
