The company has a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are available to help with any problems that may arise.\nThe Test Technician is responsible for helping to perform testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities on Gutor Industrial UPS systems in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role ensures tests are completed safely, accurately, and documented properly while supporting production and engineering teams in delivering high-quality products.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nTesting & Technical Responsibilities\nPerform functional, load, and routine tests on UPS systems and related equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.\nReview test instructions and work orders to ensure testing requirements are understood.\nAssist in troubleshooting issues identified during testing and escalate complex technical problems to Engineers or Senior Technicians.\nSet up and operate test equipment as required for assigned tests.\nRecord and document test results, observations, and non-conformances accurately.\nSupport rework verification and retesting activities when required.\nAssist with qualification or special testing activities as directed.\nMaintain a clean and organized test area and ensure equipment is returned to proper storage after use.\nProcess, Documentation & Equipment Support\nFollow all Test Bay work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.\nReport documentation discrepancies or improvement opportunities to supervisors.\nPerform routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned test equipment.\nNotify supervisors when equipment requires calibration, repair, or service.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Test Bay.\nAssist with inventory and organization of testing tools, equipment, and consumables\nCross-functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to address testing-related issues.\nCommunicate test results and concerns clearly to supervisors and team members.\nParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities when requested.\nSafety Responsibilities\nStrictly apply all safety rules and electrical safety procedure\ns in the Test Bay.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe testing environment.\nReport unsafe conditions, near misses, or equipment concerns immediately.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent technical training and relevant work experience.\n1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, manufacturing, or similar technical environments.\nBasic understanding of electrical theory and electrical safety practices.\nAbility to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.\nFamiliarity with electrical measurement equipment.\nBasic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency with MS Office applications for recording and reporting test data.\nAbility to work independently while following established procedures.\nThe position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with electrical measurement tools such as multimeters, power analyzers, or oscilloscopes.\nExperience with UPS systems, power electronics, switchgear, or industrial electrical equipment.\nFluency in Spanish.\nFirst Aid certification.\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES\nOpen-minded, proactive, and receptive to change and continuous improvement.\nSelf-driven with strong initiative and attention to detail.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.\nReliable, organized, and committed to producing high-quality work.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nThe salary range for this position is $66,000 -$80,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws.
