As a Shift Leader at our Gympie restaurant, you play a critical role in how each shift runs - leading the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.
This is a hands on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving performance on shift and supporting the team in a fast paced environment.
About the Role
As a Shift Leader, you will:
- Lead shifts and support the team to deliver strong service and food quality
- Coach, motivate and direct crew throughout the shift
- Maintain high standards across food safety, cleanliness and operations
- Ensure smooth shift execution, especially during peak periods
- Communicate clearly and keep the team focused and on task
- Work closely with senior management to drive performance and consistency
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
- Is confident taking charge and directing a team during busy periods
- Leads from the front and is not afraid to get involved
- Communicates clearly and holds team members accountable
- Takes pride in high standards and consistent execution
- Brings energy and focus to every shift
This role requires:
- Availability across evenings and weekends
- Ability to work late nights
- Flexibility to support peak trade periods
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- First Aid & CPR - these can be obtained on employment
