There are no coffee runs, no busywork, and no fighting 200 other applicants for one spot.\nGWEN is an AI-powered UX internship where you work on real-world design projects with AI teammates and a mentor. You'll build portfolio-ready case studies, get detailed feedback on your work, and receive a reference letter on completion.\nUpfront, because it matters: This is a paid training programme, not employment. The job interview and your first project are free. The full internship is a one-time $199, and regional pricing applies automatically in lower-income countries.\n\nHow it works:\n\nPass a simulated job interview, then start your first project the same day\n\nYour first project is free: tear down a real client's signup flow with your mentor, redesign it, and get both screens reviewed\n\nWork through 7 structured UX projects at your own pace, from anywhere\n\nCollaborate with AI teammates who challenge your thinking and give real-time feedback\n\nBuild portfolio pieces you can actually show employers\n\nThere is no salary and no job offer at the end. What you get is practice, feedback and proof of work: the three things every junior UX application is missing.\n\nRequirements:\n\nA laptop or desktop (the internship doesn't run on phones)\n\nInterest in UX design (student, fresher, graduate)\n\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently\n\nWillingness to learn, take feedback, and build something you're proud of\n\nBenefits:\nReference letter at completion, certificate and a portfolio review on request. Pay once, keep lifetime access including future projects.\n\nWhat others are saying, like Michael Ghaliy: \"This internship will improve your skills and ability putting your hands on real project briefs using AI tools, and learn to be confident and successful in finding a job.\"\nOriginally posted on Himalayas","description_format":"text","description_chars":1843,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-26T19:52:56Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-10-29T14:15:45Z"},{"event":"reopen","at":"2026-10-29T16:15:00Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-11-01T12:15:15Z"},{"event":"reopen","at":"2026-11-01T14:15:00Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":15,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.4,"p_active":0.462,"p_room":0.8,"age_days":45,"expected_fill_days":150,"reasons":["seen:45","win:early","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-11-01T06:10:25Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/gwen-ux-design-intern","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/gwen-ux-design-intern.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-01T15:05:40Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":23112,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-02T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":680811},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=680811"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fgwen-ux-design-intern"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fgwen-ux-design-intern"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fgwen-ux-design-intern"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/gwen-ux-design-intern\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fgwen-ux-design-intern"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3291834}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"heygwen.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3291834},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
